Join us for an immersive three-hour workshop where you’ll master the art of crafting a traditional lei po’o (head lei) using local foliage and vibrant flowers. In this hands-on session, you’ll delve into the intricacies of flower and raffia preparation, learn the elegant wili (twist) style of lei-making, and explore pattern organization to create a stunning lei po’o.
Our expert instructor will guide you through each step: from selecting the perfect blooms to designing and assembling your lei po’o. You’ll gain essential skills, including the technique to braid a raffia base and securely tie off your creation.
By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a beautifully handcrafted lei po’o, a reflection of your creativity and new skills. Perfect for both beginners and seasoned crafters, this class promises a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
